These Terms and Conditions govern your use of sitravels.ca and the travel-planning services provided by SI Travels, an independent travel agency based in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada. By using our website or submitting a trip request, you agree to these terms.
1. About SI Travels
SI Travels is a licensed travel agency in the province of Québec. Québec permit number: 702274. SI Travels is an independent agency. Bashir Ahmed previously served as President of the General Sales Agent operation for Biman Bangladesh Airlines in Canada. SI Travels is not currently affiliated with, or an agent of, Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
2. Nature of the website
The SI Travels website is an information and inquiry tool. It is not a booking engine and it does not display live flight prices or availability. Submitting a request through the form does not create a reservation. Any travel arrangements are confirmed only when SI Travels issues a written confirmation and any required payment has been received.
3. Trip requests
When you submit a trip request, you are asking SI Travels to review your requirements and prepare travel options. No payment is required to submit a request.
4. Traveller responsibilities
Travellers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate personal and travel information.
- Holding valid passports, visas, and other travel documents required for their journey.
- Meeting all entry, transit, health, and customs requirements of every country visited or transited.
- Complying with airline rules, including baggage, check-in, and identification requirements.
- Purchasing appropriate travel insurance where recommended.
SI Travels can help you understand the questions to ask and direct you toward official information, but final compliance is the traveller's responsibility.
5. Airline and supplier terms
Flights and other services are supplied by third parties (airlines, hotels, insurers, and other suppliers). Their fare rules, terms, and conditions apply and may include restrictions on changes, refunds, baggage, and cancellations. SI Travels will help you understand the terms that apply to your booking before confirmation.
6. Baggage, visas, and entry rules
Baggage allowances, visa requirements, transit rules, and entry requirements vary by airline, itinerary, passport, and destination, and they change over time. Information provided by SI Travels reflects our best understanding at the time it is provided and does not replace official government or airline sources.
7. Pricing and confirmation
Prices quoted are subject to availability, currency movement, tax adjustments, and supplier confirmation. A quoted price is only guaranteed once ticketed or confirmed in writing.
8. Changes and cancellations
Change and cancellation rules depend on the fare, supplier, and product purchased. SI Travels will explain the applicable rules before you book. SI Travels service fees, where charged, are non-refundable.
9. Liability
SI Travels acts as an intermediary between travellers and third-party suppliers. SI Travels is not liable for actions, errors, omissions, delays, cancellations, safety incidents, or losses caused by airlines, hotels, insurers, transport operators, government authorities, or events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Website content
Content on the SI Travels website is provided for general information only. Historical imagery presented as an "artistic recreation" is illustrative and is not documentary evidence.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Québec.
